![]() ![]() Shuttle come every 15 minutes, but plan on 30 minutes from hotel to terminals 5-6-7, during peak travel times. That was a bummer, but not a deal breaker. Slept pretty well, although woke up to beating drums and chants outside the hotel, apparently from local hotel worker union protest. Valet service was excellent, and allowed me to leave our rental vehicle curbside, while we got the family check in and settled in room. This property is big, with a large lobby and meeting rooms available. Our family of four had four different meals, and each was above average. Used the lobby restaurant which offered a limited menu. Front desk was great, check in was quick and easy, although mid day on a holiday weekend didn't hurt with that. Budget return location, only two blocks away, so was able to walk back after dropping car off. Booked two rooms and was able to get them connecting. Stayed here for one night before an AM flight. Other than that the property isn't too bad. Oddly I heard the clerks tell two guests that they'd been upgraded rooms but even as the top of the line Bonvoy member I didn't. Finally one of the other clerks figured out I was still standing around and helped me. Meanwhile, the other two clerks were still drawing guests from the regular line. The clerk was trying to deal with having this person pay cash for parking and incidentals. While they have a line for Elite members, that one clerk was taken up for nearly 20 minutes by someone who was clearly not Elite and didn't have a credit card. The Sheraton Club was also full of them, not sure how they have the status to get in there. I could hear them in the hallway through the paper thin door. I'm not quite sure what was going on around this hotel but 90% of the guests seemed like they were going to the Junior Prom. I came down here instead of just having appetizers in the club lounge for free, because I wanted a full meal but now I know better. As I sit here having finished most of my dinner, no one has expressed an interest in how my meal is. I also wasn't given a napkin, I had to reach over and grab a handful of cocktail napkins. Then my food arrived and he walked past me another 3 times before I asked him for another beer. I finished my beer and the bartender walked past me 7 times. I finally asked for and received a menu from a different bartender. I thought maybe he would come back with the menu. I asked for a Stella and a menu and got a Stella. One of the bartenders walked past me 5 times before acknowledging my existence. Went down to the bar for dinner and that's where it all fell apart. Went up to my room, which by all accounts seems nice (I haven't slept in the bed yet, as I compose this). My check in process was absolutely wonderful. Came here for one night because I had an early flight the next morning. ![]()
